Who is responsible for your data?
TAKABIO, 140 bis rue de Rennes, 75006 Paris, France, is the data controller. Privacy enquiries may be sent to contact@takabio.com.
Data collected
When you use the contact form, we collect your first and last name, email address, organisation when supplied, subject and message. We do not use this website to collect payment or sensitive data.
Purpose and legal basis
The information is used solely to receive, manage and answer your request and, where relevant, to assess a contribution to the Jokichi Takamine historical archive. Processing is based on TAKABIO’s legitimate interest in responding to visitors and preserving this archive.
Recipients and storage
Access is limited to authorised TAKABIO personnel and the technical providers required to host the service and deliver email. Contact messages are retained for no longer than 12 months after receipt, unless a longer period is required to handle an ongoing exchange or a legal obligation.
Anonymous audience measurement
TAKABIO uses a first-party audience measurement system solely to understand visits and improve this website. It records the page viewed, the referring website domain or campaign label, the site language and a broad device category. It does not store IP addresses, user-agent strings or cross-site identifiers, does not use an analytics cookie or terminal storage, honours browser “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control signals, and does not transmit analytics data to any third party. A random session identifier lives only in the open page’s memory; raw events are deleted after 90 days and are displayed to administrators only as aggregate statistics.
Your rights
You may request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, restriction of processing, or object to processing by writing to contact@takabio.com. If you believe your rights have not been respected after contacting us, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
Cookies
The public website uses only a technical language-preference cookie, retained for up to one year. A secure session cookie is also used for authorised administrators. These cookies are necessary for the requested service. No advertising or audience-measurement cookie is installed by default.
